From Ahaz to The Prince of Peace

Ahaz was not a good king, having participated in behaviors that to God were abominable.  Isaiah recorded in his book (chapter 7) that Ahaz had a decision to make, which was whom to trust.  Israel and Syria were breathing down the necks of Judah, wanting to conquer them by their own alliance.  God said through Isaiah that this threat would not stand, if Ahaz woud put his trust in Him, even letting Ahaz in on the secret that Israel was within 65 years of going down themselves.  But Ahaz did not take the word of God.  Ahaz accepted the help of Assyria.  Listen as Keith describes what happened as a result of this poor choice and how we should apply it to ourselves.
