Israel at the time of Isaiah may have been wondering whether anyone would be left to enjoy all the promises that God was making to them.  In chapter 48, we see Isaiah trying to convince Israel that their walk did not match their talk.  They swore by God's name and called themselves after the holy city (Jerusalem).  But their behavior did not match up.  In this lesson Keith uses Isaiah 48 to help us understand why we need to live up to the name by which we call ourselves.
